ART OF NOISES: STEREOPHONICA

SONCITIES was thrilled to partner with EMPRES and Modern Art Oxford to present Art of Noises: Stereophonica, an evening exploring spatial audio, sonic architecture, and sonic urbanism.
Featured artists and speakers included Shiva Feshareki, Dan Hulme, Gascia Ouzounian, Merijn Royaards, Jonathan Packham, Gerard Gormley (aka being strangers), Matilde Meireles, Photolanguage (Robin Wilson and Nigel Green), and Langham Research Centre (Iain Chambers and Robert Worby).
We were also thrilled to present new work by four students in the Faculty of Music, Oxford, who created soundscape compositions in response to the SAMPLING OXFORD workshop co-hosted with Shiva Feshareki. They were: Mia Davison, Leia Devadason, Abbey Hardy, and Bilge Yilmaz, curated by Music alumna Melissa Chang.
