Gascia Ouzounian was a keynote speaker at the more than sound symposium, convened by Dr Jordan Lacey at RMIT. Along with Professor Marcel Cosbussen, she took part in a panel on Sonic Cities:
Sonic Cities is concerned with the proliferation of scholarship and practices focused on urban sound, how it is perceived, and how it might be shaped by art and design practices. The study of sound in public places is diverse and divergent, with important contributions being made from artistic, social and scientific domains. Two international keynote speakers have been invited to speak to the sonic cities theme in relationship to their own high-profile research projects.
